Skills are reusable instructions, organised by module, that teach your AI something specific to your brand — when to reach for it, and exactly what to do. Out of the box your agents run on a sensible default set; add custom skills to tailor them to how your brand actually works. Open this from Brand Brain → Skills. The count next to the title is how many you have.

Brand Brain: Skills

Why you'd use it

Turns tribal knowledge into a durable, brand-specific capability. A skill teaches one module something particular about *this* brand, the trigger for reaching for it, and exactly what to do when it fires. Without any skills, your agents run on the default set; skills are the customisation layer on top.

Step 1 — Browse skills by category

Skills are organised by the module family they belong to. Use the tabs to switch between them:

  • All skills — everything in one list.

  • Creative AI — skills for the AI Designer / creative modules.

  • Performance AI — skills for paid-media performance.

  • Consumer AI — skills for consumer insights.

  • ORM AI — skills for online reputation and moderation.

On the right, filter by status (All, Active, Inactive), and use Search skills… to find one by name. The number next to each tab shows how many skills it holds.

Step 2 — Create a skill

Until you've added any, you'll see "No custom skills yet" — your agents are running on the default set. Click Create skill (in the middle of the page, or top-right) to add one. A skill teaches a chosen module something specific to your brand: when to reach for it, and exactly what to do.

When to come here

During onboarding, once the graph is built and the brand's non-obvious rules are known. Whenever a repeated correction ("it keeps forgetting X") should become permanent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to create skills to use Zocket?

No. Your agents work straight away on a default set of skills. Custom skills are optional and simply make the AI behave more like your brand wants.

What's a good example of a skill?

Something brand-specific, such as "always describe our shoes as 'everyday comfort'" or "when a competitor drops price, flag it for the performance team" — a rule about when to act and what to do.

What do the categories (Creative AI, Performance AI, Consumer AI, ORM AI) mean?

They group skills by which part of Zocket they apply to, so a skill you create is used by the right module.

What's the difference between Active and Inactive skills?

Active skills are currently being applied by your agents; Inactive ones are saved but paused. Use the status filter to see each set.

Can I turn a skill off without deleting it?

Yes — set it to Inactive. It stays saved and can be reactivated any time.
