Editing an approved creative

Three lists: what goes, what changes, what must survive untouched. Plus logo, product and background swaps.

The highest value line in any edit prompt is the one that says what must not change.

Keep three lists separate, then say what to do with the space you free up, or it will

guess.

Template

Use the attached creative as the base. Retain the overall layout,
colour palette and look.

REMOVE completely, then rebalance, do not leave gaps:
  [element 1, named specifically]
[element 2, and all copy related to it]

CHANGE: replace "[old exact copy]" with "[new exact copy]".

STRENGTHEN: [what becomes more prominent, and how: cards, badges,
scale, contrast].

PRESERVE, do not touch: [hero product], [brand marks], [partner logos],
[positioning].

REBALANCE: after the removals, redistribute so [X] becomes the key
supporting element. Do not leave [side] empty or overcrowded.

Output size: [W x H].
Do not introduce any offer, price, claim or specification not listed above.

Swapping a logo

A logo gets redrawn unless you forbid it, which is how "correct the logo" turns into a

five turn loop. Attach the file or paste its URL, and be literal about placement.

Asset: [attach the lockup file, or paste its URL]
Replace: [name the existing mark exactly].
Reproduce the supplied file as-is. Do not redraw, recolour, restyle,
re-letter, or add any text to it.

Anchor [corner]. Offset from [edge]: 0px, flush, no gap.
Offset from [other edge]: [n]px. Width [n]% of canvas width.
Clear space [n]px on all remaining sides.
Change nothing else in the creative.

Faster still: mark the logo region on the image before you prompt. The edit is then

confined to that region and the rest is left alone, which turns a five turn loop into

one turn.

Swapping a product, or its background

These share one construction. Name the one thing that changes, then name everything

that must not.

SWAP Replace the [product] with the attached image. Only the
[outer shell] changes. The [screen content] and all lighting
must stay exactly the same. Do not change scale, angle,
         position or shadow.

EXTRACT Extract the product and place it on a clean background:
         [white #FFFFFF / grey #F5F5F5 / transparent PNG].
Output [W x H], product centred, [n]% of frame height.

BACKGROUND Replace the background with Attachment [n]. Keep the product,
text blocks and logos in their exact current positions.
Match the product's edge lighting to the new background.
