Resizing and localising an approved master

Adapt rather than regenerate, so the version lineage and the approval survive.

Always adapt from an approved master rather than regenerating from scratch. Regenerating

loses the lineage and, if your work goes through review, re-triggers it.

The one instruction to add to a bare resize request is to re-lay-out rather than scale.

That is what prevents stretched products and elongated offer boxes.

Resize

Resize the attached master to [W x H].
Do not stretch or distort. Re-layout rather than scale.
Re-flow the headline, the offer block, the product and the logo to suit
the new ratio. Keep the product as the visual hero.
Safe margin [n]px all sides; keep all text and key elements inside it.
Type must stay legible at 50% zoom.
Preserve: exact copy, logo lockup and position, colour palette, legal line.
Do not change the offer or add any new claim.

Localise

Adapt the selected approved master into [languages] at [ratio].
Keep fixed: logo, product shot, brand colours, call to action, legal line.
Only reflow and translate the text.
Use contextual translation, not literal.
Keep these terms in English: [the terms your market uses in English].
Do not change the offer or add new claims.

The "keep these terms in English" line is worth more than it looks. Every market has

words customers use untranslated, and a literal translation of them reads as foreign.
