Replying to marketplace reviews

Marketplace reviews are read only in Zocket. Here is why, and how to reply.

Marketplace reviews from Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra are read only in Zocket. You can read them, filter them and report on them here. You cannot send a reply from Zocket.

Why

None of these marketplaces offers an API for posting replies. Zocket can only do what the platform allows, so rather than appear to send a reply that never arrives, we do not offer the action at all.

How to reply

1\. Find the review in Consumer Insights, then Ratings, then Reviews, then Marketplaces.

2\. Use the filters to narrow down what needs a response. You can filter by platform, star rating, sentiment, theme, date, and whether the buyer actually bought the product.

3\. Open your seller portal for that marketplace and post the reply there.

What Zocket does give you

* Every review from all three marketplaces on one screen, instead of three separate seller logins.

* The total number of reviews, the average rating, the positive, neutral and negative split, and the complaints that keep coming up.

* When each platform last pulled new reviews and how far back the history goes, so you know whether what you are reading is current.

Where replying does work

Social comments and messages can be answered inside Zocket, in Brand Moderator, and so can Google and app store reviews. The restriction is specific to marketplace reviews, because only the marketplaces lack a reply API.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I draft a reply in Zocket and paste it into the seller portal?

There is no reply drafting step on marketplace reviews. Write the reply in the seller portal.

Will this change?

If a marketplace opens a reply API we will look at it. We will not promise a date.

Does this apply to Google reviews?

Outlet and store alerts read Google reviews, which are handled separately from marketplaces because they are tied to a physical shop.
